design qua’s studio and office space is a conversion of two, 30-year old shophouses that are located a convenient 5-minute walk from Phrakanong BTS Station in central Bangkok. The two shophouse units have been completely gutted and a 5-story tall light-well have been inserted in the back of the dense urban block.

The first two stories house our office and three living units have been created on the floors above. The residential part has its own separate entrance with a staircase that leads right up to the rooftop.
