An adaptive re-use conversion in the same hutong as our first office+living project (see 67 dq_hq ) where we converted two adjacent 40 year-old shophouses into our office on the first 2 floors with 3 apartment units above. For this second edition, we have designed 2 large living units, “Bridge” and “Spiral” units(each with a total of 140SM of habitable interior and exterior spaces) that spatially feel more like a traditional house than a box-like shophouse space by breaking the walls and floors and giving these units both double width and double height spaces.
